About

A coalition, not an agency.

Quantum Leap Sports Agency (QLSA) is a next-generation sports representation and athlete development firm purpose-built for this defining moment in American athletics: a generation of Black athletes who command unprecedented economic power, cultural influence, and civic voice — yet still navigate a representation industry that was not built for them. QLSA will represent elite high school, collegiate, and professional athletes who are seeking both to maximize their earnings and to leverage their athletic performance into business, cultural, and political leadership. We are a Washington, DC-based operating company with four anchors — Jacksonville, Miami, Atlanta, and Birmingham — that combine to form one ecosystem.

Origin

Why this exists, and why now.

For a century, athletes have produced the cultural and commercial output that built leagues, conferences, broadcast empires, and entire sponsorship categories. The economics of that output have flowed almost everywhere except back to the people who created it.

QLSA was founded to change those economics and bend the wealth disparity curve. The end of old-amateurism rules, the consolidation of streaming, and the cultural centrality of the modern athlete have arrived simultaneously. There is no incumbent built for the next ten years. That is the opening we were built to step into.

We aren't a talent agency, a management company, or a media network — and we don't want to be. We're a coalition: part program operator, part publisher, part long-term partner. The work is plural, patient, and intentionally not in a hurry.

Equity, not endorsement

Athletes hold a stake in the platform itself. Upside is shared, not extracted.

Coalition, not roster

One platform, many athletes. Value compounds across the group instead of fragmenting across reps.

Operator, not intermediary

We build and run programs, media, and IP ourselves. The brand isn't downstream of a deal.

Patient, not transactional

We measure success in year-over-year progress against a coalition-wide standard — not one-off bookings.

Leadership

Built by operators and athletes, not intermediaries.

Troy E. Mosley

Founder & Principal

Troy E. Mosley is the founder of Quantum Leap Sports Agency. He brings a multi-decade career operating across institutions — military leadership, civic platforms, and the universities and communities that develop young athletic talent — and has built QLSA as the coalition he wishes had existed a generation ago.

His work sits at the intersection of athlete welfare, cultural production, and long-term institution-building. He convenes coaches, founders, distributors, and policy voices around a single thesis: that athletes are owed a seat at the ownership table, and that the platform that organizes them first will define the next decade.

Founding Partner & Wealth Pillar Lead

Lee Baker is QLSA's Founding Partner and the architect of its Wealth pillar. Three decades as founder and president of Claris Financial Advisors give Lee deep fiduciary credibility and national industry standing — a record that brings athletes a planner who has built and defended balance sheets long before they walked into the room.

Wealth pillar architecture, family-office concierge design, athlete financial-literacy curriculum, and CFP / CPA bench recruitment all sit under Lee's leadership at QLSA. He is a regular contributor to the CNBC Financial Advisor Council and serves as a Practitioner Editor of the Journal of Financial Planning.

Our symbols

Four Symbols. Four Principles.

Our brand carries four Adinkra symbols — traditional Akan visual proverbs from Ghana. Each names a principle that guides the coalition’s work.

Wealth
Sankofa

Reach back and reclaim what is valuable — turning heritage into generational wealth.

Leadership
Adinkrahene

The chief of all symbols — leadership, greatness, and the charisma to set the standard.

Influence
Dwennimmen

The ram’s horns — strength wielded with humility. Influence that persuades, never dominates.

Justice
Epa

The handcuffs — law, justice, and accountability. A reckoning with the past, and a fairer deal ahead.

Adinkra are traditional symbols of the Akan people of Ghana, each carrying a proverb or meaning.
The athletes built the economy. The coalition is how they finally own a piece of it.
